Tom Waits - Orphans
Tom Waits releases a three-disc box set of rarities and unreleased tracks called Orphans (Brawlers, Bawlers & B@stards) on November 20th 2006.
It is a collection of 24 rare and 30 brand new songs. Each disc is a separate collection - the first CD featuring more "bluesy" cuts, the second the more "melancholy" and the third disc featuring the more "experimental" tracks. Of the 56 songs on the box set, 30 are, according to the press notes, new.
Waits describes the collection as "A lot of songs that fell behind the stove while making dinner."
