Duffy came in at number two with Rockferry, while We Started Nothing by The Ting Tings slipped from number one to number four.
Neil Diamond remained a strong feature in the album charts with his record Home Before Dark at number three and his Best of compilation at number nine. Emergency, the debut album from The Pigeon Detectives came straight into the chart at number five after it's release on 26th May.
Jumping All Over The World by Scooter dropped two places to number six and Cistercian Monks Chant - Music For Paradise came in at number seven.
Pendulum charted at number eight, followed by Neil Diamond's Best Of at number nine. Beth Rowley, who debuted at number six last week with her album Little Dreamer, has dropped to tenth place, completing the UK Album Chart top ten.
In the singles chart, Rihanna remained at number one with Take A Bow.
Duffy climbed from number seven up to number three with Warwick Avenue, while The Ting Tings held on tightly to their number two spot.
4 Minutes by Madonna, featuring Justin Timberlake, fell one spot to number four, closely followed by Heartbreaker at number five by Will I Am, featuring Girls Aloud member Cheryl Cole.
The rest of the top ten singles saw a bit of a re-shuffle this week, but those familiar summer tunes stayed within our favourites list. Black and Gold by Australian singer-songwriter Sam Sparro charted at number six, followed by Ne-Yo's Closer at seven.
Love In The Club by Usher remained at number eight and was followed by September's Cry for You at nine. The top ten was neatly rounded off by Wiley with his single Wearing My Rolex.
