Four More Acts Added To V Festival

Organisers of this year's 11th annual V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Mobile, have announced The Divine Comedy, Kula Shaker, Nerina Pallot and Shack as new additions to the line-up. The festival takes place over the weekend of 19th- 20th August at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire.

These acts, alongside the likes of Paul Weller, Girls Aloud, Groove Armada and Razorlight bring us closer to the final 80 plus acts that will play to more than 135,000 fans, all in one weekend that promises to be 'the' music extravaganza of the summer.

Bob Angus, Festival Director says:

"With the height of summer nearly almost upon us, it's really great to see the bill continue to shape up to be such a strong one this year. Plus, we still have a whole other stage to announce - watch this space!"

Crispian, Alonza and Paul - better known as Kula Shaker - are back, joined by new boy Harry on organ. The band will be performing Kula favourites like Tattva & Hush, as well as new material from their recent EP Revenge of the King. Their new album is expected later in the year.
