cherylyn emery: ilikemusic because... it makes me happy even when im sad
Oliver, Young Knives: ilikemusic because... It evokes a mood and a feeling of when you last heard the track.

Rowan: ilikemusic because... it helps me chill out
Sarah Christine: ilikemusic because... Music is like a puzzle. Each peice by itself is unique and looks like no other puzzle peice, but when you put it all together, you expeirience a completely different picture. It's on an almost daily basis that I find myself getting lost in my music, and I love it!
Ellen, Los Campesinos: ilikemusic because... It’s the best form of escapism that you can have wherever you are. You could be completely miserable or waiting for a bus and put on any song that inspires you and you can escape into a little world, well that’s what I tend to do anyway.
Mutya Buena: ilikemusic because... It’s something I’ve grown up listening to, I enjoy singing I don’t think I know what I’d do without music to tell you the truth. It helps me out in so many ways.
Chris, Orson: ilikemusic because... Well, is there anything else? Music is the perfect thing, it makes you feel good, it makes you feel sad, it makes you feel happy, what else is there?
Darren: ilikemusic because... It makes me dance like a motherf**ker
Now in their eighteenth year as a touring band, The Saw Doctors revolve around the songwriting partnership of Davy Carton (vocals) and Leo Moran (keyboards). The current line-up of the Galway band also features Salthill piano player and singer Kevin Duffy. The band began 2006 with a brand new album, entitled The Cure, and a new band line-up that includes Fran Breen on drums and Anthony Thistlewaite on Bass Guitar. Over the years, they have built up a reputation as a great live band and have toured all around the world.
Despite their relatively short tenure within rock'n'roll, The Rifles exude the self-contained air of a band that have been inspired by the street-level perceptions that characterize one of British pop's most vital bloodlines from The Kinks to The Smiths to The Streets. The London band, consisting of Luke Crowther, Joel Stoker, Rob Pyne and Grant Marsh played their first gig back in 2004 and since then have built an army of like-minded fans, all sure to be seeking them out at V this year!
