  • Lupe FiascoLupe Fiasco: ilikemusic because... It gives me a chance to escape and reach people I wouldn’t ordinarily be able to reach. And without music the world would be kinda quiet.

Wild In The Country 2008 Bjork set to play only UK festival

Wild in the Country prides itself on being a carefully programmed event, focusing on the quality and fluidity of the acts rather than an endless realm of bands and DJs that is impossible to navigate during one festival. This ethos is carried through every aspect of the weekend, offering the best custom built facilities from quality food to fancy dress, there will even be an army of toilet attendants; toilets are never a nice issue at live events but WITC aims to keep them nicer.

Interesting food is a huge part of the great festival experience, no longer will a tasteless burger and a cheap fizzy drink satisfy today's festival goer. WITC will provide quality, variety and locally produced meals and snacks from a range of colourful and beautifully put together multi-cultural food stalls. You will be amazed at the cuisine produced in a field! There is also an extensive market filled with quirky all-weather stalls perfect for any festival oddities and eventuality.
