Xfm’s All Day Breakfast with 24 Hours of Free Gigs
As summer approaches Xfm will be celebrating in the only way they know how - loads of live music. Or to be more precise an amazing list of hot gigs, spread out over 24 hours, right across London. Those in the know will no longer be referring to Saturday 21st June 08 as the summer solstice but 'Xfm's All Day Breakfast', a 24 hour breakfast show, hosted by Alex Zane featuring live music from a jam packed line-up that includes acts such as the legendary Paul Weller, Feeder and the Guillemots.
Kicking off at 6am, the doors of the Barfly will be flung open, and One Night Only will be first up. Mystery Jets and Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly will be whetting your appetite before lunch with the Modfather himself, Mr Paul Weller being served up for what is sure to be a rocking main course.
The afternoon and early evening continue on full power with performances from Feeder and Guillemots. As we pass into the early hours Xfm will continue to serve up many more huge portions of live music, including Primal Scream and The Young Knives, ensuring there isn't a drooping eyelid in-sight. Doors for the last gig will open at 2am.
