Billy Idol Announces UK Tour

The media are saying great things about Idols' shows - from the Daily Telegraph's report of the Download Festival in Donington to headline shows in the USA:

"The hands-down hit of the day was, bizarrely, Billy Idol. Not content with wheeling out his own hits, such as White Wedding and Rebel Yell, he also had a crack a the Who's Who Are You and, most triumphantly, Van Halen's Jump, his only apparent justification being that these songs delivered in style would raise the roof.
He wasn't wrong." Daily Telegraph June 05

"The amazing thing about Mr Idol is that not only is the music of the highest calibre, but his stage theatrics are superb - the amount of passion in his eyes or angst in his face when he is singing is just mind blowing - you get the impression that even today he whole heartedly believes in the lyrics he is belting out." Efestivals June 05

"The outfits kept changing, the hits kept coming and in the end, no one would let Billy off the stage resulting in 20 minutes of extra playing time. He looked great, he sounded fab and he made this little girl very, very happy." RoomThirteen.com June 05

"Although he's entering his fifth decade, Billy Idol is a testament to the youth-preserving effects of rock 'n' roll and a hedonistic lifestyle. Possessing a voice that can still growl with libidinous menace and a body that men half his age would kill for (not to mention women), Idol demonstrates on his current tour that he's more than a reasonable approximation of his former chart-topping self.
