Search for a Star is a rare Olympian Style Tournament, embracing artistic expression in all its forms, with an aim to seek out the next wave of talented artists.

Noodle is looking to shine light on brand new artists. Entries can be anything from animations, musical, sickly off-cuts, brief sketches, film scenes, caught-on-cameras clips, out-takes, voice-overs, bits of unused footage, whether humorous, dark, edgy, juvenile, insightful or thought provoking. The decision is up to the artist.

Hoping that this will throw up some truly fresh talent, Gorillaz will not only offer the winner the opportunity to collaborate with them, but a work space at Kong Studios to showcase their talent. What's more is that the winner is to be chosen not only by Gorillaz but also by the online audience.

Kong Studios, www.gorillaz.com, will host Search for a Star. Gorillaz fans will be notified by a series of e cards sent by Noodle over the next few weeks, and new improved Kong Studios website is now live, with any submissions available for viewing in 'The Auditions Room' of Kong Studios to be found at Gorillaz.com.
