Scottish singer-songwriter KT TUNSTALL releases her debut single 'Black Horse and the Cherry Tree' on Relentless on February 21st 2005.
An inspiring slab of hot and dirty blues, 'Black Horse And The Cherry Tree' is taken from KT's debut album 'Eye To The Telescope' which was released on December 13th 2004.
KT gave a thrilling performance of 'Black Horse' on the last series of 'Later With Jools Holland'. Following an incredible viewer reaction (it won over 50% of the online vote for best act that week) the track has been recorded especially for the album with production by Andy Green (Keane).
"'Black Horse' is inspired by old blues, Nashville psycho hillbillies & hazy memories," says KT. "It tells the story of finding yourself lost on your path, and a choice has to be made. It's about gambling, fate, listening to your heart, and having the strength to fight the darkness that's always willing to carry you off."
