After his recent cover versions outing, Paul Weller returns with a brand new self-penned single "From The Floorboards Up" on July 18th.
From its choppy opening riff and dance-floor tempting urgency "From The Floorboards Up" is Weller at his paired down best.
Described by the man himself as "Two minutes and 25 seconds of rock 'n roll", "From The Floorboards Up" is released on CD and two 7" versions.
The CD features "Floorboards..." and another brand new track, the sublime "Oranges And Rosewater", plus the video for "Floorboards". First 7" features "Floorboards..." and"Oranges..." whilst the second 7" features "Floorboards" and the Lynchmob remix of "Floorboards..." on the flip-side.
"Floorboards" was produced by Jan "Stan" Kybert and Paul Weller
