Fresh from supporting Keane in Europe, Rufus has been enjoying overwhelming critical acclaim for his triumphant live shows and new album, 'Want Two'. Rufus returns to England for the second leg of his UK tour in May.
New download single, 'Crumb By Crumb', one of the album's many highlight, is released June 20th . The track was written by Rufus Wainwright and produced by Marius De Vries, who worked with Rufus on both 'Want One' and 'Want Two'.
In addition to his current UK tour Rufus will be performing on the second stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival, on Sunday June 26th.
Rufus will be also joining Keane again as their very special guest on the main stage of this years' Wireless Festival, June 29th in Hyde Park.
In Ireland Rufus will be joining Brian Wilson as his special guest at the Cork Festival on June 30th. Long term admirer Elton John has also asked Rufus to support him in Dublin July 2nd. Elton describes Rufus as the "as-yet unheralded American treasure" and is just one his high profile fans.
