V Festival Tickets Sold Out

GOING, GOING, GONE!

IT'S A SELL OUT

Tipped to be one of this summer's hottest events, V Festival 2005, sponsored by Virgin Mobile, has proven its status by selling out completely across both sites. Now in the tenth year of the event, the rapid ticket sales have smashed all previous records, with Chelmsford camping tickets flying out the box office in just three hours!

The already spectacular line up including main stage headliners Oasis, co-headliners Scissor Sisters and Franz Ferdinand - plus The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers, will appear at Weston Park, Staffordshire and Hylands Park, Chelmsford over the weekend of 20-21st August.

Festival Director, Bob Angus said:

"With the amazing line up announced so far and it being the 10th anniversary, we're pleased, but not entirely surprised that tickets sold out so quickly. Those who were unlucky this year in getting tickets should listen to live broadcasts over the festival weekend on Virgin Radio and catch the action screened over the weekend on Channel 4." Keep logging on to www.vfestival.com for detail of programming.
