Following recent GRAMMYs success, Bon Iver has recorded a stunning session for 4AD.
Justin Vernon, accompanied by long-term bandmate Sean Carey (who also records as S.Carey), sat down at a grand piano in AIR Studio's Lyndurst Hall to play four tracks from Bon Iver's second album, plus a cover of Bonnie Raitt. Stripped down to their bare bones the songs are even more arresting than usual, and Vernon and Carey's performance is utterly spellbinding for the entire 25 minute session.
