Renowned US music website Daytrotter has announced the opening of a UK headquarters in Crouch End, North London.
The site, famed for its analogue sessions (all music is recorded to quarter-inch tape), has teamed up with the London-based label Communion Records to establish a second base alongside its home in Rock Island, Illinois.
Daytrotter UK will be recording 15-20 sessions a month, starting with four-song sets from Bombay Bicycle Club, Metronomy, Big Deal, Lucy Rose, Niki & The Dove, Nathaniel Rateliff, Admiral Fallow, Slow Club, Simone Felice, Bear Driver, Duologue, Jesca Hoop, Folks, Kyla La Grange, Boxer Rebellion, Tribes and Channel Chairo.
The first session to be revealed will be with Bombay Bicycle Club; stay tuned for more news.
