Essex-based Producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Francis Neve releases his new EP Dance Around The Fire on December 5th through his own label FRR Records. Also featured on the EP is new song Lie and two remixes of Brian’s Drying Up by Bangatang and DJ Ruckspin.
The track was born out of what Neve terms ‘the most unusual summer we’ve had in London.’ He continues: ‘The sentiment is a really positive one ... The song is trying to focus on the good things in life and how we treat each other rather than the bad that we always hear about in the news. It’s hopeful.’
Neve's Music is subtle and understated with vocals and melodies which are quietly compelling rather than hard hitting. Definitely worth a listen. The EP follows on from last years acclaimed debut album The Second Time We First Met, a collection of lo-fi pop.
