Cult Irish indie band Jape have released their new single Scorpio through Music/Is/For/Losers. Taken from the album Ocean Of Frequency, the track is a gentle yet propulsive cut of indie-pop that bubbles along in a flurry of strummed guitars, taut bass and tightly-harmonised, storytelling vocals.
Lead singer Richie Egan describes the song's genesis: "We took a drive up around the Hellfire Club one day and there were definitely spirits in the air. They came back to our house in the car boot and helped me write this one."
