Music Matters

Music Matters have partnered with the BRIT Awards to launch the all-new Unsung Hero Award.

The award will be given annually to a member of the behind-the-scenes staff of our favourite musicians, without whom those musicians could not cope.

The nominees for the inaugural Unsung Hero Award come from the teams of BRIT nominees JLS, Anna Calvi, One Direction, Olly Murs and Rizzle Kicks:

Katie Ray - Social Media Manager to JLS
Emma Nathan - Photographer and Video maker for Anna Calvi
Adam Sosner - Musical Director and Guitarist to Rizzle Kicks
Marky Murphy - Tour Manager to Olly Murs
Rami Yacoub, Carl Falk and Savan Kotecha - Writers and Producers to One Direction

The winner will be chosen by public vote, and voters will automatically be entered into a competition for tickets to the BRIT Awards 2012, taking place at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday 21st February.

Cast your vote at www.whymusicmatters.org. The winner will be announced on February 16th.
