15 years after the debut Plug release, Ninja Tune HQ have proudly announced the release of Back On Time, a ten track collection of long-lost Plug material.
Luke Vibert has built up a strong following over the last decade, known and relied upon for his eccentric and twisted experiments across a variety of underground sub-genres of electronic music. Releasing under a number of monikers (Wagon Christ, Luke Vibert, Plug, Kerrier District, Amen Andrews, The Ace of Clubs, Spac Hand Luke) to cater for particular style preferences, it was the name Plug which housed his foray into the world of drum 'n' bass.
Arriving at the Ninja Tune HQ earlier this year to promote the new Wagon Christ record (according to the press release, he bought cushions designed like 808 drum machines as presents), Luke announced that he had found some never heard before DATs dated "1995-1998" titled "Plug."
Ten of these tracks have now been collected into one album, Back On Time, released on 9th January 2011, with track two "Feeling So Special" available now as a free download from http://www.ninjatune.net/plug
