A new festival for Bristol has just been announced: Love Saves The Day.

Taking place at Castle Park, Bristol, Sunday 3rd June 2012, the one day event will run across the Diamond Jubilee Weekend, leading into the early hours of bank holiday Monday.

The line-up announced so far is as follows: Amirali – Live / Annie Mac / Babyhead – Live / Ben UFO / Bonobo – DJ / Crazylegs DJs / Christophe & Lukas / Dan Wild / Dance Off Crew / Disclosure – Live / DJ Derek / Eats Everything / Foreign Beggars – Live / Futureboogie / Greg Wilson / Huxley / Jamie Jones / Javeon McCarthy – PA / Jessie Ware – Live / Joker / Koreless – Live / Maya Jane Coles / Miguel Campbell / Mr Scruff / Pearson Sound & Joy Orbison – B2B / Radikal Guru / Roots Manuva – Live / Soom T – Live / Tom Rio & Freddie Prest / Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs – Live / Young Warrior / Waifs and Strays / + many more to be announced

The festival has been created by 'Bristol’s most bold and daring event programmers' including the team behind Glastonbury Dance Village's Wow! stage, last year's See No Evil and one half of In:Motion, put together in conjunction with the city’s Placemaking Initiative, which aims to bring exciting events into the city.

With more acts set to be announced, the event will also feature local caterers, exhibitors and art installations.
