Secret Garden Party 2013 initial line-up and new features announced

Getting set for its eleventh year, Secret Garden Party have made their first line-up announcement for 2013 and released details of additions to the festival site set for this year.

With Soulwax topping the bill, plans underway for an "epic new dance venue, brought to you by Bristol’s finest" and the annual fancy dress theme announced as "superstition", Secret Garden Party once again get set to make a unique mark upon the UK festival scene.

Head Gardener and programmer Fred Fellowes says:
‘Every couple of years it seems that music bubbles up an endless host of new wonders in a relatively short space of time. In such a moment as this, we feel incredibly honoured to be hosting so many of these incredible new bands at the Garden Party. When added to the amazing new site works I really just can’t wait for this year’s SGP.’

New for 2013
New aerial walkways throughout the woodlands, further improvements for the legendary Pagoda Stage, a new Yacht Club Bar on the lakeside, The Woodburner returns with a beautiful alfresco gypsy caravan stage, The Bearded Kitten’s Collo-Silly-Um will grow in size due to popularity last year, the Dance Off Stage will be expanded into a "fully-powered outdoor participatory venue", campsites will feature new walkways and better access, The Garden's beloved Artful Badgers have been given their own new landscaped Amphitheatre to frolic in, plus details of a new venue for 2013; "Keep looking out for more information about an epic new dance venue, brought to you by Bristol’s finest, coming soon."

Secret Forum tatster line-up
The Secret Garden Party’s intellectual platform, the Secret Forum has announced a taster line-up of the brilliant thinkers set to talk at the festival this year:

Tickets
Tickets in tiers 1 & 2 have already sold out. There are a very limited number of tickets left in tiers 3, 4 & 5. The tiered ticket system means that there are a set number of tickets available in each tier, which gradually increases in price. "We are urging all Gardeners who love the party to book early before it is too late. There will not be any extra tickets available for 2013 and tier 3 tickets are selling quickly."
