Comedy rock duo Tenacious D recently announced that their new album, Rize Of The Fenix, will be released on May 14th, a full six years since their last album, The Pick Of Destiny.
Now Kyle Gass and Jack Black are giving fans the first taster of their new material with the video To Be The Best... Well, a very small taster; most of the video is the touching story of how Gass and Black settled their differences and made it back into the studio, all with a little help from their friends.
Tenacious D will tour this summer, playing the UK on the following dates:
June 5 - London, O2 Academy Brixton
June 6 - London, O2 Academy Brixton
June 9 - Donnington Park, Download Festival
June 10 - Manchester, O2 Apollo
June 12 - Glasgow, SECC
