The Shins set release date for new album

The Shins

American indie band The Shins have set the date for the release of their long-awaited fourth album. Titled Port Of Morrow, the album will be released in March 2012, over five years after the release of the band's previous album, Wincing The Night Away, which garnered enthusiastic reviews across the board and went into the top twenty in the UK and was a top ten hit in America and several other countries around the globe.

Due to be issued by Columbia Records in association with Aural Apothecary - the label owned and run by the band's lead singer James Mercer - the artwork (pictured) and tracklisting have been revealed.
