The Staves will release new EP Facing West on 29th April via Atlantic Records.

Taken from their beautiful debut album Dead & Born & Grown, Facing West will arrive on the EP alongside two new tracks, What Good Am I and a cover of Turin Brake's Rain City.

Following an incredible 2012, which saw the folk trio of sisters recieve glowing reviews, sell out their UK tour and support Bon Iver, The Staves start 2013 with a series of shows at SXSW followed by a UK and Europe tour this Spring, dates below.

Speaking to us about their beautiful harmonies, Jess told us: "We always sang, for as long as I can remember. Our parents sing for fun and were always singing round the house, they'd sing us nursery rhymes in harmony so the harmonies sunk in from a young age. We were singing them without really knowing. It is really instinctive. We've sung with other people and that's fun but when it's harmonies it's never the same, it's never how it is when we do it together."
