Watch Darwin Deez - You Can't Be My Girl

Darwin Deez has been superimposed upon a collection of stock footage for the video to new single You Can't Be My Girl. Released on April 8th via Lucky Number, the single is lifted from his recently released second album Songs For Imaginative People.

The video tells the tale of lonely Darwin, falling in love with a girl but never letting her know. She meets someone else, gets married, has children and a wonderful life while Darwin remains FOREVER ALONE.

A parody of "hipster" found footage Tumblr videos, which collate / create interesting imagery from a variety of sources, Darwin and director Keith Schofield have instead chosen to use banal, corporate videos intended to inspire happiness to create their amusing tale of woe.
