Justin Timberlake Live at Earls Court

The swarm of Justin Timberlake fans that fill the Earls Court arena are clearly over 80% female. ilikemusic.com's editor took her girly mates to see the man himself, who impressed with his incredible dance moves, vocal talent, beatboxing and 'English' impressions...

Despite being outnumbered by women, and despite being a pop dude, many men I know think JT is deserving of his accolade and has great talent. And at ilikemusic.com we couldn't agree more.

The crowd had been warmed-up soulful stylee courtesy of the wonderful Lemar - with his hit songs, Fifty-Fifty and, I Just Wanna Dance, going down a storm - and his velvety vocals filling the place - Lemar was a fine choice of support by JT's people.

And, from the moment Justin Timberlake arrives on stage, sliding down a fireman's pole to fireworks, the whole show is choreographed and performed with total precision. Surrounding Justin on platforms and stairs are an array of backing singers, a band, a bunch of brilliant dancers, and a brass section - all adding to the spectacle of JT live.

Justin mesmerises the audience with his cool and jazzy routines and his slick moves. It's clear to see Justin's key influences musically- as he performs he has the soul of Stevie Wonder and the moves of Michael Jackson (but, controversially, he can move just as well if not better than MJ - no doubt). And the crowd adore him, self much included!
