You could be completely miserable or waiting for a bus and put on any song that inspires you and you can escape into a little world, well that’s what I tend to do anyway.

Brit Awards Review 2004

Here's the ilikemusic.com review of the Brits experience 2004, including show arrivals, performances and award winners...

First to arrive at the biggest night in the British showbiz calendar, were Big Brovaz and Gary Jules, shortly followed by Gareth Gates, Will Young and a stunning Rachel Stevens looking fine in an illuminous yellow dress.

All had been nominated and were looking forward to the show, but it was Rachel who got the photographers pulses racing in her revealing outfit. However, some even more incredible goddess-like ladies were about the grace the red carpet...

Blu Cantrell, Beyonce and the very gorgeous Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas soon arrived, looking every ounce the rnb hip hop godesses that they are. The Black Eyed Peas arrived early ready to kick off the show with their awesome hit 'Shut Up', but missed out on Best International Group award to The White Stripes.

The BEPs are in the UK on a mini-tour and are playing London dates in February and March. And, having introduced some 'BLING!' to the red carpet, the Black Eyed Peas headed off inside Earls Court, leaving Pharrell to take up position and keep the Bling-factor going strong.
