Brit Awards Review 2004

Not only did The Brits 2004 provide glitz, glamour and incredible live music, it gave us a chance to see our very own British temptress Cat Deeley as we've never seen her before. To open the Brit Awards, Cat burst through the floor straddling a huge bottle of champers. "The booze is back," she yelled, decked out in top hat, tails and some rather saucy suspenders and boots. And everyone grinned happily, including a dapper looking Justin Timberlake. Earlier, Cat posed for photographers on the red carpet and looked stunning in a white frock. While other show arrivals with maximum impact included The Darkness and Alicia Keys.

The Darkness arrived in very loud style, pulling up in a mustang surrounded by Hells Angels, while Alicia Keys opted for a more ladylike approach, arriving in a stunning horse-drawn carriage - the princess of RnB had arrived - no doubt. And talking of 'no doubt', one of the clear highlights of the Brits 2004 had to be Alicia's sexy, jazzy hip-hop fuelled performance alongside No Doubt's Gwen Stefani and Missy Elliot. The elite trio took the roof off with their version of Prince's Kiss.
