Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending
It is the second single to be taken from Avril's No.1 album 'Under My Skin' and is released on 2nd August (a week EARLIER than previously advertised so please take note!) 'My Happy Ending' is a strong, empowering anthem which sees Avril deliver yet another outstanding vocal performance as she rocks out once more in her own inimitable style.
Avril has been nominated for a 2004 MTV Music Video Award in the category of Best Pop Video for "Don't Tell Me". Also nominated in this category are No Doubt, Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson and Hilary Duff.
The 2004 MTV Music Video Awards will air live August 29th from Miami's AmericanAirlines Arena.
In other news, Avril Lavigne, Gob and Swollen Members are just a few of the musicians making cameos in the upcoming MuchMusic-produced comedy, 'Going The Distance', which arrives in cinemas across Canada on August 20th.
The Avril song 'Losing Grip' is also featured on the soundtrack to the film, and which also includes new tracks by Gob, Jersey and Lester. Also on the soundtrack are Swollen Members, Sweatshop Union feat. Moka Only, Sum 41 and more!
