Kevin Michael: ilikemusic because... I’ve been singing my entire life. I cannot go without listening to it or singing for a day. I wake up to it, I go to sleep to it, I am music.

Scott, Thin Lizzy: ilikemusic because... It lets my adrenalin start pumping, it gets aggression out, and sometimes I can actually get emotional with it. There are many reasons why I like music.
Hard-Fi: ilikemusic because... what else is there to like?!
Chuck, Simple Plan: ilikemusic because... It was always a way to escape whatever problems I was going through; whatever trouble I had, I could just put on a record or a song and feel better right away and I hope that our music can have the same effect on our fans.

Hey there a Big 209 - jittersThe first single from Duran Duran's forthcoming album, Astronaut, is "(Reach Up for the) Sunrise." Out now!
Produced by Duran Duran and Don Gilmore (Good Charlotte, Linkin Park, Avril Lavigne, Pearl Jam), "(Reach Up For The) Sunrise" was one of the first tracks to be written for the band's new album, during a month-long writing and pre-production session in the South of France, some 18 months ago.
The song was recently re-cut at Sphere Studios in New York, with Don Gilmore at the helm alongside the band. Jeremy Wheatley (Massive Attack, Sugababes, The Dandy Warhols) mixed the track at Olympic Studios in London and Ted Jensen mastered it at Sterling Sound in New York.
The video for the song, which Duran Duran has just finished shooting in six different locations in three countries, was helmed by feature film directors The Polish Brothers (Twin Falls Idaho, Jackpot, and Northfolk). The band shot the innovative video over a period of a week, taking in locations in the US, UK and Spain.
As part of this extraordinarily creative concept, each of the band members was captured on a different film format - from 35 mm, 8mm, and High Definition to mini-DV, symbolising their five very individual personalities. These formats will be cut together in post-production to create something visually spectacular and unique.
