Robbie Williams, the UK's greatest showman returns to the fore this autumn with the release of `Radio', his first new single in over 2 years. An intoxicating slice of synth-pop that pays homage to the electro, new wave sounds of the early 1980's, `Radio' is the first of two new tracks taken from the forthcoming `Greatest Hits' album released on October 18th.
Co-written and produced by Stephen Duffy, `Radio' marks the latest chapter in the Robbie Williams story. 'Radio' is backed with two new tracks; the loose 'madchester' based groove of `Northern Town' and the guitar pop of '1974'.
'Greatest Hits' released on the 18th October 2004 features a selection of the smash hit singles that have marked one of the most distinguished careers in musical history. The compilation will feature tracks from four of Robbie's number one albums — `Life Thru a Lens', I've Been Expecting You', `Sing When You're Winning' and `Escapology'.
