Adele Wins New Critics Choice Brit Award

On her BRIT win ADELE said,
"I'm really chuffed and flattered to have won the new category. It's fantastic to have lots of people supporting me and nice to know. I've always wanted a BRIT award and I'm made up to be getting one so early on! Thank you very much to everyone who voted!"
Following the release of her debut 7" single 'Hometown Glory' on Jamie T's Pacemaker label back in October, a striking performance on Later With Jools Holland, and a sold out UK tour, ADELE has been subject of a whirlwind of critical acclaim in all areas of music media. She releases her debut album, '19' on XL Recordings in January.
