Sarah Christine: ilikemusic because... Music is like a puzzle. Each peice by itself is unique and looks like no other puzzle peice, but when you put it all together, you expeirience a completely different picture. It's on an almost daily basis that I find myself getting lost in my music, and I love it!

This Is The Life is taken from Amy's debut album of the same name, which debuted at # 2 in July and is already fast approaching platinum sales. The second biggest British debut female artist in 2007, Macdonald is one of this year's success stories.
This Is The Life was written after Macdonald saw Pete Doherty's first gig in Glasgow after he left the Libertines. "It was a great night - he did a little acoustic thing at the aftershow party, and we got into that. Then me and my pals went back to someone's house and just sat, passing the guitar round, singing songs. It was a brilliant night. The next morning I wrote This Is The Life about it, cause I realised, this is the life".
Amy Macdonald has spent the past year, since signing to Vertigo, touring up and down the UK, picking up legions of fans along the way. Following a sold out headline tour throughout October, Macdonald played ULU London in November and Barrowlands Glasgow in December.
Amy Macdonald is also kicking up a storm around Europe, she supported Paul Weller on his European tour throughout September and performed and interviewed on Taratata, France's biggest TV programme. Her song 'Road To Home' has also been confirmed as the official anthem of Glasgow's bid to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
