Girls Aloud - I Think We're Alone Now
Girls Aloud have had a busy week, what with Ghost Hunting and granting interview time to the New Statesman to outline their views on politics. According to Nadine, "Politics isn't our thing."
Making pop tracks is their thing however, and this week Girls Aloud are back with their own unique take on the 80's classic I Think We're Alone Now, released on December 18th through Fascination/Polydor Records.
Having already achieved a career first this autumn with their very first UK number 1 album, adding to their already astonishing record making run of 13 top ten singles. Girls Aloud have now had more consecutive top ten singles than any other girl band beating the likes of Spice Girls and Destiny's Child. (Although Sugababes have more Top 10 hits with original songs than any girl group since The Supremes).
On hearing Girls Aloud's version of the song she took to No 1 around the world Tiffany said "I'm really excited about the Girls Aloud version of 'I Think We're Alone Now.' I've heard it and love it! The production is amazing and the girls sound as awesome as always. I became a huge fan of theirs after I sang their song, 'Love Machine', on the TV show, 'Hit Me Baby."
