Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape
The queen of cool, Gwen Stefani bounces back with her new single 'The Sweet Escape' on February 26th through Interscope Records.
The unique Gwen changes style for The Sweet Escape - swapping the yodelling for an irresistible pop smash which fuses styles from the past to make a sound that goes pow!
As well as featuring Akon, the hook-laden single was also produced by the Senegalese rapper.
"I thought he might just want to do some generic hip hop but he came up with this fresh, super fun song," says Gwen.

'The Sweet Escape' is lifted from the album of the same name which features collaborations with Pharrell Williams, Linda Perry and Tim Rice Oxley from Keane. The first single, Wind It Up smashed into the charts at #3 in December.
Gwen is currently preparing for a world tour which kicks of with 40 dates in the US. There are plans to bring The Sweet Escape tour to Europe later in the year.
