Global Cool Webcast KT Tunstall Golden Green Party Performance

Global Cool has announced that KT Tunstall is the next artist to feature in their On-Demand webcast series, which aims to help defeat global warming through awareness-raising collaborations with high profile artists.

KT Tunstall will be performing at the first-ever Golden Green Party at the Golden Globes, on January 15th. Global Cool has partnered with E! Entertainment and the Environmental Media Association to present this environmentally aware after-party. The following day Global Cool will make the performance, as well as exclusive interview footage, available for on-demand streaming through Global-cool.com

Fans logging on to Global-Cool.com from January 16th can expect to see:

Tues, Jan 16th:
- A full 30 minute stream of KT Tunstall's performance (from 3pm GMT)
- A 6 minute highlights package showing the best action from the event (from 6pm GMT)

Weds, Jan 17th:
- A 20-30 minute 'Features' program, with interviews and more (from 1pm GMT)

KT first became involved with Global Cool's 10-year campaign, which aims to encourage individuals to drastically reduce their personal CO2 emissions, at last year's Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. Over the past year the Scottish singer/songwriter has led the way in green touring by embracing innovative actions such as offsetting the CO2 emissions of her headline US tour and running her tour bus on environmentally-friendly biodiesel fuel.

This year's Golden Globe party is an all-green affair, hosted at 9900 Wilshire Beverly Hills, a recently completed 'green building' apartment block. The 'Golden Green Party' will be a Carbon-Neutral event in addition to featuring a sustainable décor and organic food. Los Angeles based environmental group, the TreePeople, will also plant a tree for every guest that attends the party.
