simon f baker: ilikemusic because... you can transcend the confines of the material world with it, it's probably better than shagging in fact. There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.

Kylie Minogue will not perform at next year's Glastonbury Festival, as previously rumoured when Michael Evis said he was "really hopeful" that Kylie would perform. However Emily Eavis told BBC 6 Music, "It's not going to happen. Kylie has a lot of touring up her sleeve".
The last time Kylie was scheduled to play at Glastonbury was in 2005. However she was forced to pull out when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After taking a break and beating the disease, Kylie returned to the stage in Australia last month with her critically acclaimed Showgirl Homecoming tour.
Kylie is also set to perform in the UK at Wembley Arena on New Year's eve, when the tour starts its UK run of dates at Wembley Arena and in Manchester.
Emily Evis added, "I think if she was going to do Glastonbury, she'd rework her show and I don't think it's going to be possible in that time frame."
