Madonna - Give It 2 Me

Give It 2 Me, the hotly-anticipated second single from Madonna's sensational new album Hard Candy, is released July 7th on Warner Brothers.

Give It 2 Me is already established as a firm fan favourite, having recently dazzled crowds at Madonna's recent New York, Paris and Maidstone (Radio 1 Big Weekend) dates. The track will initially be released on two track CD, with further formats to follow on July 14th.

August 08 sees Madonna take her 'Sticky & Sweet' tour to cities across the globe. Beginning August 23rd in Cardiff (and playing London's Wembley Stadium September 11th), Madonna closes the European leg in Paris on September 20th.

Madonna then commences the North American leg in Rutherford, New Jersey on October 3rd, visiting a host of U.S. and Canadian cities before finishing the tour in Miami on November 26th.

Arriving hot on the heels of 4 Minutes, which is still at number 4 after 11 weeks in the charts, Give It 2 Me will be released on two track CD, three track maxi single (CD and digital) and 12" picture disc. All formats come complete with a thumping Paul Oakenfold remix, while the vinyl and maxi singles also feature remixes by Eddie Amador.

Written and produced by Pharell Williams and Madonna, Give It 2 Me is a no-nonsense slab of dancefloor dynamite and one of the album's many highlights. 'Hard Candy' has been number one in the European airplay charts since release.

The dancetastic new video, co-directed by Tom Munroe and Nathan Rissman, will be premiered in the coming weeks, and will be available for exclusive purchase via iTunes and Yahoo for 48 hours only.
