McFly - I Wanna Hold You

McFly release "I WANNA HOLD YOU" on 17th October 2005. The third track to be taken from their No 1 album, "WONDERLAND", following the chart-topping singles, "I'LL BE OK" and "ALL ABOUT YOU."

"I Wanna Hold You" is an all-guns-blazing, hard-rocking track with some spectacular strings thrown in.

"It's probably early days to say 'classic McFly' but this is one of a few songs on 'Wonderland' to provide a good bridge between how we were two years ago and how we are now", Danny explains, "We started writing this on our first tour - hotel rooms have proved great locations for songwriting".

The band are currently working their way through a 20 date arena tour of the UK, including 3 gigs at London's Wembley Arena Pavilion.

As well as having recent success with their new album, "Wonderland", the boys have been working hard in the studio, recording with one of their heroes, Roger Daltrey. They've laid down a new version of The Who track "My Generation" which is available as a download via HMV's new service.

"I Wanna Hold You" is released on 3 formats:

CD1 - features the single plus Mcfly's version of the Killers "Mr Brightside"
CD2 - features new track Easy Way Out, and interview with Tom and Danny, an instrumental version of the single plus a poster.
DVD - features a mini 'on the road' movie of the band plus the video, a poster and an interactive section from their recent visit to Alton Towers.

Nice!
