McFly - Star Girl

McFly release a brand new single 'STAR GIRL' on 23rd October. The single is taken from the band's third studio album, 'MOTION IN THE OCEAN', which will be released on 6th November.

Packed full of stories of alien girlfriends, teenage mobs and broken hearts, 'MOTION IN THE OCEAN' was written by McFly at the start of this year. The band then teamed up with producers Julian Emery and Jason Perry, formerly of the poptastic rock outfit A, at Grouse Lodge Recording Studios in Co. Westmeath in the Irish countryside for 2 weeks to record the forthcoming album, which includes their their No1 smash hit 'PLEASE PLEASE' (their fifth No 1!) from July this year.

It's the latest chapter in a career which has already seen the quartet scoring five UK No1 singles as well as being the youngest group ever to have a No 1 album (which earned them a place in the Guinness Book of Records).

They've had 2 number 1 albums, sold over 2 million records, sold out 2 arena tours, played to audiences in venues ranging from the Camden Barfly to Wembley to Buckingham Palace, shot a movie with Lindsay Lohan, supported countless charities and scooped numerous awards (including a coveted Brit award for Best Pop Act).
