Ellen, Los Campesinos: ilikemusic because... It’s the best form of escapism that you can have wherever you are. You could be completely miserable or waiting for a bus and put on any song that inspires you and you can escape into a little world, well that’s what I tend to do anyway.

In the words of The King Blues: music can bring the world together :) We all like to day dream and we've all got ideas about what we want from life, so how do we make the most from what we have? If anything is attainable, how do we get what we want? By getting out there, getting involved and getting a life is how.

Nelly Furtado has sold over 10 million records. Her third album, Loose, debuted at No 1 on the Billboard album charts, and has seen Nelly tour worldwide.
So what's her advice on achieving what we want from life?
"When it comes to young people, young women in particular, I think the most important thing is to have a sense of individuality," says Nelly.
"Have a sense of self. And that's built by pursuing hobbies, pursuing music or sports or leadership activities within your school. You need to take advantage of the years you're in high school. Just be as active as possible in extra-curricular activities, that's what really shaped me as a person."
