Ellen, Los Campesinos: ilikemusic because... It’s the best form of escapism that you can have wherever you are. You could be completely miserable or waiting for a bus and put on any song that inspires you and you can escape into a little world, well that’s what I tend to do anyway.

Penguin: ilikemusic because... Music is the one thing that really connects people. In the words of The King Blues: music can bring the world together :)
DJ Format: ilikemusic because... I was never going to make it as a footballer
simon f baker: ilikemusic because... you can transcend the confines of the material world with it, it's probably better than shagging in fact. There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.
dawn Leonetti: ilikemusic because... it makes me spin, giggle and bubble up - kinda my own Rice Crispies cereal ("snap, crackle, pop") in the audio form...
joseph daniel: ilikemusic because... coz itz me huh
Kai, Mystery Jets: ilikemusic because... Music makes me smile.
Steve, Hard-Fi: ilikemusic because... Life is not worth living without it. Everything else could disappear, but music is the one thing that always remains with me throughout my entire life.
"Also, allow yourself to have fun. Because you have good and bad experiences, but ALL those things build character and make you who you are. If you don't push yourself a little sometimes, you never really find out who you are."
Determination, Perception, Ambition
Nelly Furtado has been working hard on writing songs and getting involved since she was 12 years old. She was determined. Determination, perception and ambition are key ingredients to achieving what you want from life. And those are things that UK hip hop star, Sway, has in large doses.
Age 16 Sway got into the grand final of an open mic session at London's Dingwalls despite being too young to even be in the club and came second to Chester P of Task Force. In 2004 he set up his own a totally self-run production company and label Dcypha which would be the independent outlet for Sway's first trilogy of releases 'This Is My Promo, Volume 1', 'This Is My Promo, Volume 2', and 'This Is My Demo'. Sway's aim with this hat-trick of releases was to express and establish himself as an artist before signing to a label.
