Nelly Furtado feat. Timbaland - Promiscuous

Following on from the runaway success of 'Maneater' Nelly Furtado is back with another surefire smash. This time she duets with Timbaland on 'Promiscuous' which is released on September 4th on Geffen Records.

Mixing dark hip hop beats with 80s synths, Nelly and Timbaland trade verses on the single.

"This track shows me letting go in so many ways," says Nelly.

"I co-wrote the lyrics - something I've never done before - with this rapper from Alabama called Attitude. That was extremely freeing because it allowed me to experiment with interpreting a character which I then took into the video shoot."

Check out for the entertaining video directed by Richard X [Ludacris, Sean Paul] which not only has Nelly playing the drums but a little cameo from Justin Timberlake.

'Promiscuous' is taken from Nelly's third album 'Loose' which has already stormed the charts around the world. The first UK single from the album, 'Maneater' topped the charts for 4 weeks.

In the US, Nelly is enjoying her biggest success to date. The first US single 'Promiscous' hit No 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and 'Loose' debuted at No 1 on the Billboard album charts.

Nelly is currently touring Japan and Australia and will be looking to perform in Europe towards the end of the year.
