Hey there a Big 209 - jittersAfter selling five million albums worldwide, scoring seven smash hit singles and sold out tours from Milwaukee to Manila, the voice of the Pussycat Dolls breaks out on her own. Nicole Scherzinger, the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, flies solo for the release of her new single 'Baby Love' on November 5th through Interscope Records.
'Baby Love' produced by Will I Am is a mid-tempo, hook-laden joint that is set to propel Nicole straight to the top of the charts.
Nicole, who is of Filipino, Hawaiian and Russian descent, was born in Hawaii and raised in Kentucky. Still only in her mid-20s, Nicole has already guested on tracks by artists as diverse as rapper P.Diddy and Italian tenor, Vittorio Grigolo.
Nicole's album 'Her Name Is Nicole,' set for release in early 2008, includes all but two tracks co-written by Nicole, and features an all-star cast of songwriters and producers from the worlds of hip hop, rock and pop.
Timbland provides the club jam with 'Physical' whilst Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol produces the haunting alt-rock ballad 'Just Say Yes'. Nicole collaborated with Akon on the infectious uptempo 'Puakenikeni' which is named after a Hawaiian flower. Elsewhere Polow Da Don, Pharrell and Ne-Yo contribute tracks.
