Jun: ilikemusic because... music can convey a mood, enhance a mood or change a mood. Music can be used to inspire and the artform is simple yet complicated. It's fun to listen to and even more fun to create and perform. It speaks when just a simple word can't. It's a blessing!!

joseph daniel: ilikemusic because... coz itz me huhWhen Piney Gir turns her busy hands to music it's a bit like a great new boutique just opened downtown. Genres are dusted off like fabulous half forgotten dresses, there is a flurry of accessorising and eventually a beautiful girl steps out of the changing room.
And so here she is, decidedly unapologetic on the Say I'm Sorry single, featuring material from her new album The Yearling and a few gems from the wardrobe too.
Say I'm Sorry (and it is your fault, trust me on this), is a perfect 3-minute beatpop bopper that seems to have fallen out of the 60s pop charts with its twisted tale of romantic errors. The A-side is backed up with a Stray-Dogs-in-Paris remix, which takes the song on a mad rural bender in a bus full of Skynrd fans. You have been warned.
Early Days - The Daytime Radio 1 Playlist Version, sees Piney grabbing a Casio-tone nugget from her album and morphs into a tongue-in-cheek, pop spectacular version with 4 on the floor kisses The Killers can't rival, with a middle eight that is reminiscent of the Mandrell Sisters (circa 1982) on a gypsy fairground ride.
Finally, in a final nod to 7" stratagems of The Fab Four, Piney re-works the A-side in German as Tut Mir Leid.
