Scissor Sisters - Land Of A Thousand Words

Scissor Sisters return with their epic new ballad 'Land of A Thousand Words' on December 4th 2006.

The single is the follow up to the #1 smash ' I Don't Feel Like Dancin' which topped the charts for 4 weeks in September.

'Land Of A Thousand Words' - once again written by Jake Shears and Babydaddy - is the bands homage to film opening songs. "It's an exploration of a three and a half minute pop song that goes from nothing to high drama," says Babydaddy.

The single is available on CD with a remix of 'Land Of A Thousand Words' by Junkie XL and as a limited edition square 10" picture disk.

Both singles are taken from Scissor Sisters second album 'Ta-Dah' which debuted at #1 in the UK and has already sold 800,000 copies in two months. Back in the US, 'Ta-Dah' impressively debuted within the top 20.

Scissor Sisters returned to the UK in November for the biggest tour to date. The arena tour kicked off in Manchester on 6th November at MEN Arena and ended at Wembley Arena on 24th November.
