Jun: ilikemusic because... music can convey a mood, enhance a mood or change a mood. Music can be used to inspire and the artform is simple yet complicated. It's fun to listen to and even more fun to create and perform. It speaks when just a simple word can't. It's a blessing!!

And they weren't the only ones; Lady Gaga, Perez Hilton, Miley Cyrus, The Veronicas, Ashley Tisdale and Sarah Silverman were among a plethora of celebs asking the same question. Soon enough Sliimy became the hottest new name around and found himself as Twitter's #1 Trending Topic.
That question reached over 10 million followers of the celebrities, thus ensuring that Sliimy became a hot name amongst celebrities and the public alike.
So, who is Sliimy? Just twenty years old, Sliimy has already come a long way from the fervently-imagined kid from Saint-Étienne that he was. His first big break came when his performance of the Otis Redding classic (Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay won a competition to record with his now regular collaborator Feed. The duo have remained together ever since, with Feed producing and co-writing all of Paint Your Face.
Sliimy's neo-Technicolor pop explosion has already earned him a huge hit in his homeland of France, an influential figurehead in the shape of celeb king Perez Hilton and dates in support of Katy Perry. Since then, Sliimy's success had continually grown and evolved. Both Wake Up and Paint Your Face have been smash hits back home, while the approval of Perez Hilton came when he discovered Sliimy's effervescent take on Britney Spears' Womanizer - in fact, Sliimy made a special guest appearance at a recent Britney show.
Sliimy's fantastically fabulous sound reaches the UK with release of the single Wake Up available from September 21st 2009, followed by his album Paint Your Face, available from September 28th 2009.
