There is virtually nothing more satisfying than when a load of chords and words suddenly come together into a song ; suddenly everything in life seems to fit and make sense once more.
  • IMTIAZ HASANIMTIAZ HASAN: ilikemusic because... music is fuel that steers us through the emotions and phases of life, music promotes a feeling of oneness and generate meaning to our emotions, music lets us explore the culural differences and the tools that are employed through the decades to artistic peaks. why i like music? because it conserves humanity...that is why I LIKE MUSIC

The Cardigans - Super Extra Gravity

New Album - 'Super Extra Gravity' - out 17th Oct
New Single - 'I Need Some Fine Wine And You, You Need To Be Nicer'- out 3rd Oct

One of Sweden's most successful pop exports since Abba, The Cardigans return with their 6th studio album 'Super Extra Gravity' on 17th Oct through Polydor Records.

To date The Cardigans have sold over 8 million albums worldwide and have been responsible for some of the great pop moments of the last 10 years. It has been 7 years since the release of their career defining album 'Gran Turismo' which spawned such classics as 'My Favourite Game' and 'Erase/Rewind'.

Tore Johansson (Franz Ferdinand), who was absent from the last record, -2003's 'Long Gone Before Daylight' - is back at the producers helm on 'Super Extra Gravity', which looks set to continue the commercial success of Gran Turismo. "We 'fired' him during the recording of the last album because we felt that he was pushing us towards an approach we attempted to leave. He still doesn't particularly like 'Long Gone…'. He has a whole different aesthetic. But for this album we came crawling back!" admits Nina with a laugh.
