The Killers - The World We Live In

The Killers release a new single, The World We Live In, on Vertigo. The single is the third to be taken from the band's million-selling third album, Day & Age, which was released last November to critical acclaim and which has already given us the hit singles Human and Spaceman. Along with the release of The World We Live In, the Las Vegas band has a glorious summer of UK appearances ahead of them, with festival headline shows in Hyde Park, at T In The Park and at V Festival.

The Killers last visited UK shores in February for a tour that sold out in record time (150,000 tickets in 2½ hours) and included two shows at London's 02 Arena, a heart-stoppingly brilliant performance with Coldplay (and guest appearances from Bono and Gary Barlow) for War Child at Shepherds Bush Empire, and a show-stealer as Brandon Flowers presented the Pet Shop Boys with their award at the Brits. Since then, the band has been on tour in central Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and made their first headline appearance at a US Festival, as they topped the bill at Coachella.

Fans coming to see The Killers at their shows this summer can expect to see a tasty array of hits from all three of the band's studio albums, including Mr Brightside, Human, When You Were Young, Read My Mind, Spaceman, Somebody Told Me, All These Things That I've Done and, of course, The World We Live In.

Sat 11th Jul T In The Park
Sun 12th Jul Oxygen
Sat 22nd Aug V Festival (Chelmsford)
