Veto Silver - Stay Young, Stay Beautiful

South London's Veto Silver release their Stay Young, Stay Beautiful EP, the eagerly anticipated follow up to their 2005 debut EP When You're With That Girl, on June 12th 2006.

Released through Mobb Rule Records, tracks are 'Stay Young, Stay Beautiful', 'Streetlife', 'Stay Young, Stay Beautiful (Protokoll Electronique Mix)' and 'Stay Young, Stay Beautiful (Protocol DMJ Mix)'.

'Stay Young, Stay Beautiful' is a glorious pop moment, all shooting star synths, preening guitars and open-heart vocals (a fine example of verse-chorus efficiency), and perfectly showcases the band's self-consciously stylish approach to making pop brilliance.

The E.P also features the ultra-synthetic, disco edged 'Streetlife' and mixes by UK electro-rockers Protocol and US synth-punks Protokoll. The E.P will coincide with a joint headline UK tour with Protokoll (see below) as well as Europe and US dates.

Veto Silver are a razor-sharp 3 piece, described by the NME as "electro-fuelled art pop" and as being "the best cheekboned trio since A-ha". An immaculate group with punk aesthetic roots of anyone can do it, fuelled with a lust for perfect pop. Born out of a passion for Class A tunes and stylish, cinematic visuals, the band's visual creation and expression of identity owes as much to their emergence from London's underground club culture as it does their obsession with iconic rock and roll figures and imagery.

The release of their debut E.P 'When You're With That Girl', along with a hectic touring schedule (live dates in the U.K, Europe and North America), gained them UK and international critical acclaim from both press and radio alike - NME, City Life, Fake DIY, Popjustice.com, Artrocker, DIS, Attitude, Mixmag, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, XFM, BBC London, regional and various international stations to name but a few.
