The first release through brand new label Hit Club, the track comes backed with Hot Chip, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Egyptian Hip Hop remixes. It will be available on limited 7" and digitally.
Sounding like MGMT fronted by Bryan Ferry, or a 21st Century ABC The King & All of His Men is an instant modern classic, a toweringly bright and brilliant combination of archly knowing lyrics and soaring space age pop production values.
A part Irish, part German and brought up in St Andrews in Scotland, Max moved to London as a student before dropping out of his degree course at LSE to concentrate on being a full time dandy highwayman of pop, Max fell in love with music and out of love with studies to revel in his real passion. His musical palette is a scattering trail of sonic references ranging through Supertramp, Roxy Music, David Byrne and many more, all melded within a framework tinted by his classical knowledge.
